What is A Jacketed Pot:

To put it plainly, the jacketed pot is similar to the large pot at home, but it heats more evenly, and the jacketed cooking pot with stirring function is like the large pot with a meal spoon.

Nowadays, more and more people use jacket kettle, gradually replacing traditional wood-burning iron pots.

Application of Jacketed kettle:

Jacketed pot products are widely used in food processing and brewing, wine making, pharmaceuticals and daily chemical industries such as candy, cakes, beverages, fruit juices, jams, preserves, dairy products and canned food. It is used for material melting, disinfection, heating, blanching, pre-cooking, preparation, cooking and concentration. It is also suitable for large hotels, restaurants, hotels, guest houses, restaurants, canteens as porridge, soup, dumplings, cooking and stew.

What are the heating methods of the jacket Kettle?

The heating method of the jacketed pan is generally steam heating, electric heating, and liquefied gas heating, which are energy-saving, environmentally friendly and easy to use. With the improvement of technology and the improvement of people’s living standards, the requirements for food safety and quality have become stricter, and the sandwich pots are now made of stainless steel.

The stainless steel jacketed pan is divided into steam jacketed kettle, electric heating jacketed kettle, and gas heated jacketed pot. The difference between the three is: the electric heating jacketed pot is heated by heating the heat transfer oil through the electric heating tube; the steam jacket kettle uses the steam generated by the boiler to pass into the jacket of the jacketed boiler for heating. Gas heating uses natural gas, liquefied gas or pipeline gas as the heat source, which solves the problem of using jacketed boilers without steam. If necessary, it can also be equipped with a temperature control system or a stirring device.

What are the working principles of gas jacketed pot, steam jacketed pot, and electric heating jacketed pot?

1. The working principle of the gas jacketed pot:

First open the gas valve of the jacketed pot, ignite the gas, and manually add edible oil to the pot. When the oil temperature reaches the cooking temperature, add an appropriate amount of materials, turn the pot manually and stir to make the materials even in the pot. Heated (the same principle as a household wok). After the material is processed, turn off the air and turn off the flame, turn the handle, and use the worm wheel and worm rotating device to make the worm rotate and tilt, and then pour the material into another container. In this way, the material is processed.

2. The working principle of the electric heating jacketed pot is:

The electric heating jacketed kettle uses electric heating as the heat source, and the electric heating jacketed pot uses heat-conducting oil as the medium. When working, the material is transported from the inlet to the pot, and the electric heating rod at the bottom of the jacket in the pot body The heat conduction oil in the jacket is heated, so that the material in the pot quickly rises in a short time. Electric heating jacketed pot heating the predetermined temperature saves time more than steam heating.

The electric heating jacket does not need to bear pressure during operation, so the heating time is short. The electric heating jacketed pot has the characteristics of large heating area, high thermal efficiency, uniform heating, short heating time and easy temperature control.

3. The working principle of the steam jacketed pan:

The jacket kettle body of the steam jacket kettle is a double-layer structure composed of an inner and outer spherical boiler body, and the middle jacket is heated by steaming the material. The steam jacketed kettle uses a certain pressure of steam as the heat source. When working, open the steam inlet valve to start ventilation and heating, and close the steam inlet valve when the material is heated. The steam jacketed kettle has a large heating area, high thermal efficiency and uniform heating. The liquid material has the characteristics of short boiling time and easy control of the heating temperature.

How to choose a suitable commercial jacketed kettle?

  • First, according to the capacity of the material need to be proceed, the capacity of the jacketed pan can be divided into: 50L, 100L, 200L, 300L, 400L, 500L, 600L, 800L, 1000L.
  • According to the structure, the jacketed pot can be divided into: vertical (fixed) and tiltable (inclined discharge).
  • According to the heating method, as discussed above, the jacketed pot can be divided into: electric heating, gas, steam and electromagnetic heating jacketed pot. The choice of heating method needs to be reasonably selected according to the conditions of your current working environment. If you have a steam boiler or a steam generator, it is recommended to choose steam heating to save costs. If there is natural gas or liquefied gas, it is also a very good choice. If the electric heating method is selected, it is also very convenient to use, as long as there is electricity, it can be produced and processed.
  • According to the working mode, the jacketed pot is divided into: stirring type and non-stirring type. According to the characteristics of the material, if it is a non-sticky solid material (cooking noodles, halogen products, etc.), you can choose a jacketed pot without a stirring structure; if it has viscous materials (boiled sugar, fried fillings, porridge, etc.), It is recommended to choose a jacketed pot with a stirring structure.
  • If you are confused about what kind of jacket kettle to choose, just feel free to tell us what is your raw material and capacity you want, we will give you more suggestion then.
